Another favorite TED talk. Johnny Lee demonstrates how technology in the classroom doesn't have to come with a back breaking cost. Just some creativity and some open source software. :)

Well this video hits close to home for a lot of reasons :-) but yes there are people that have taken the input devices for the Wii, 360's kinect, and the playstation move and have hacked them to do all sorts of things. When I see stuff like this it makes me really wish I knew more about programming. I work with programmers that do some amazing stuff not only at work but also outside of work in there spare time.

    This video also for some reason made me think of things that artist have done on there own on a low budget, like a poor man's facial capture technique.
